I bought my 70 911s in 1978 when I was 28. Now almost 40 years later I'm going to pull the trigger soon on a TT. A lot of life's ups and downs have passed in that time. Now at 62 it is time to have some fun. Still have the need for speed and LOVE to drive. So much fun now knowing that I have the cash in my pocket to find my dream car.

Bought mine in 2006 as a combination 50th birthday and Christmas present.
Still enjoying it every day!

Purchased at 38 and counting... I come from a family of savers, so it took some time to realize the one who dies with the most cash and no Porsche is simply an idiot ... I'll be driving Porsches from now on... Carpe Diem and keep the rubber side down my friends!

Bought mine as a 60th birthday present to myself. I figured if I didn't do it then, I never would!

Great to hear all the stories about those that joined the pcar club as a 'reward'..My first Porsche is the 996 I have now (at 41), and although I have only had it for a year and a half, I know there will be be more in the future...

Squeaked in under 55. Wanted one since age 12.

Spent the price of a tricked out '13 Turbo on my daughter's education. So, that caused the delay.

First 911 at age 20 (was born a slave to cars) First 996 at 51 and added another at age 56. Stopped paying the son's tuition after his first year because of abysmal performance. He was quite pissed and loved to complain that he had to take student loans while his Dad drove to work in a Porsche. That's right kid, "work" being the operative word.

He came home tonight for a family dinner and I couldn't help but to fire a mild shot. Student loans, failed to get a degree, carrying debt, but oh lookee here, a brand new Gold iPhone.

I'm paying two college tuitions right now. Fortunately my sons are taking it quite seriously and they are getting excellent grades. I paid cash for my C4S when I bought it, but the tuition payments are currently preventing me from upgrading. I'll see how the 991 C4S market looks in a couple of years. Probably.

61, got the 00 996 at 59 a couple of months before 60.
I did not see it as a 60th gift but my wife saw it that way. Lucky for me she always liked Porsches and so did I. So far so very good!

Bought my 944 at age 27 then bought my 996 four years ago at 35. Have to upgrade to a bigger home soon and once that is done then I'll set my sights on the next P-car.
