Default Suspension refresh suggestions

I have the infamous "floaty" feel at highway speeds. Car tends to wander, and overall feel loose in the front. Steering wheel has a slight shimmy/ shake. First item currently in my cart is the ROW M030 suspension, and am looking for input for what you'd recommend I replace as well. I lifted up the car, and shook everything including the wheels, and everything felt tight. The only visual evidence of wear was on the sway bar end links front and rear, the rubber on them was a little worn out; so I plan on replacing those. The tie rods (what I was going to replace) looked fine, felt fine, and the inner tie rod boots were also in perfect shape. I plan on getting a good custom alignment (GT3 specs maybe) and having my tires re-balanced after the suspension refresh.

Just looking for opinions on what you might replace as well. I'm used to BMW's benefiting from replacing bushings (RTAB's, FCAB's etc).

How many miles on the clock? I replaced my OEM suspension w/ the RoW M030 kit at 25k and I'm now at 60k miles. It completely eliminated the float at speed that you describe - for sure one of the best mods I've done. I didn't consider the additional part you're ordering, but if they're worn they should probably be replaced. I think you'll be quite pleased w/ the result - best of luck!

I just completed my ROW M030 swap last night. Your list looks good. Did you consider control arm bushings?

Put the Row M030 on my '04 Cab. and it transformed the handling. No more float - more precise feel. One of the benefits of the kit is getting sway bars & bushings. Replaced front upper mounts as they were torn. Very happy with this upgrade.

I went through a similar refresh recently. Both sun coast and my local dealer told not to worry about the rear shock mounts. They were correct upon inspection. Did you inspect them?

I had similar issues and the dealer (after several trips back) changed out the rear trailing arm assembly. With that fix and a 4 wheel alignment the problem resolved.

with that list of upgrades your car will drive like new... you'll like it. and your smart to replace everything once your in there. I have ROW 030 as well - sweet upgrade. I recently went to H&R springs for a more lowered and controlled ride... well worth the $$$.
