Default FS: NEW 18' modern Phone Dial wheelsets

We're prepared for production and SAE safety testing, and using Kickstarter for wheelset purchases.

There are fanstistic fitment and offsets available... modeled very closely to the CIII wheel family (9", 10" & 11").

I would love to see a set of these on your 996!

To pledge to purchase a NEW 18" Phone Dial wheelset goto:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...ving-a-classic

If you have any questions on fitment or the project in general, feel free to contact me at jim@928classics.com or PM me here.

PS. The project is over 75% funded and we already have 4 wheelset orders. Just need one or two more and we are a GO! 4 days left so don't wait!

I'd like to see a photo or photoshopped image of those on a 996...

62 hours left! Need one more wheelset purchase...

Someone out here must be daring enough to give it a shot!

I tell ya though, go to events with this wheel and you'll definitely draw some attention.

I dont understand the market for "retro" wheels from another Porsche model for the 996? What am I missing?

A little over 24 hours left to go, and we need only one more wheelset purchase.

One more and we're sucessfully funded and on to production!

Anyone interested? We're SO close.

Too much like the top of an opened soda can for my liking. IMHO NOW Ta1 I really like. Easy to clean and very stylish.

It's on the short-list... but if I can't get thru this project, I'll probably step out of the wheel business.

Not to say that these Phone Dial wheel won't get made... it'll just end up being a very limited production.

Bump - I hope you get the last order in. Looks like a great project, unlike some of the crap on Kickstarter.

Looks like you've put a lot of work into this project! I think they look promising but I'm confused about the 996 fitment. Your guide doesn't even list compatibility with the 993 let alone the 996.

Fitment Guide on Kickstarter

Best of luck though. I'm not sure they really fit the 996 model anyway but I think they'd look great on the 928s and 944s.

I haven't a fitment guide for the 996 because I don't know yet.
What I do know is this is a 3-piece modular wheel, and I can make them fit for whoever wants them.
FWIW, they are very similar to the CIII wheel family (8", 10", 11"). If you are familiar with these, the Phone Dial fitment will be easy peasy.

A little over $2k left to go before midnight tonite! Please show you support.

Thank you.
