Default RE: Reputable Porsche Shops SoCal?

I recall a few years back someone posted a list of reputable Porsche shops locally here in Southern California Does anyone have that list or know where one might be found

There are several good P-car shops around So Cal, it really depends on your location and what type of work you're needing. Tony Callas in Torrance is fabulous as Jake mentioned. Vision Motorsports in Laguna Niguel is another great shop along with Speed Gallery in North Hollywood (where I go ). There now you have the geograpical regions of So Cal pretty well covered.. All the above shop service both street and race cars....

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and recommendations. I had been using an independent mechanic, a former dealer certified mechanic; unfortunately, he has become quite undependable. I am located in the SFV, and I received a couple of recommendations for local shops which I will utilize Thanks again to everyone that took the time to respond

Visionmotorposrts. What can I say, Dwain rebuilt my engine (cracked cylinder) for 8.5k including taxes and a few things..... try that anywhere else. It was 13 to 15k elsewhere. Two years ago.

I don't think so. 70% of the bill was labor. He broke it down for me. L I know labor has not gone up much. He just does not charge high markups for parts and keeps the rates fair. I asked around then, and all estimates were around 13k for a rebuild. And a new engine was also 13k.
