Are there maintenance records? There are definitely some questions to ask…etc. Be prepared for the usual bs “church lady” type answers. Why only 413 mi. in 5 years? Was the oil changed during this period (Highly doubtful)?. Oil in coolant/Coolant in oil. Any type of leaks - oil, coolant, power steering pump & rack, check where bell housing/transaxle meets the engine. Start and drive - listen for strange noises feels etc. run the AC. If you can get into it a little, pop one of the headlights out and look at the wiring to see if the insulation is cracked and falling off… Good Luck

Was it garaged and out of the sun? A car needs to be driven, often and for long periods. The first thing I would check is the oil filler cap...see if it is full of a yellowish smooge (gunk). That will tell you a lot...wasn't driven long enough to fully heat up, and the result can create all kinds of problems. Plus, 413 miles in 5 years means the gas is old, and that creates a whole new handful of problems. Good luck. Check the oil/coolant levels before a test drive.

Pay for a CarFax if they don't have one.

Without more information, hard pass.
More info about the known history would help you with an informed answer to the question.

Its a gamble but then again any used car will be. Budget to have things like the water pump, AOS and IMS replaced as well as some hoses etc. do an oil and filter change straight away - there will always be something regardless of kms/miles. Also check if the coolant is green or pink - green = very old / pink = new type - might still be a bit old.

Some cars sit some cars get driven

lol that’s probably more than what I’ve put on my supercharged s50e30 in the last 5 years!

I change the oil and filter every time I pay property tax on it. Got bored and rebuilt all the brake calipers on it last weekend.

Some of us really are weird…

I would just take it to one of the CT independent shops for an inspection. Otherwise will be guessing.

My experience if car was stored properly, it may not have major issues.
