Wow a 2003 991? Really....just go to a part store. I just changed mine. Bought Bosch something and they work great. Chances are what ever you get it will be better than what you have.

I tried a set of the Bosch blades and I don't like them. They do a poor job, especially at highway speed.

I like my Bosch Icons. They do a great job on both my C2 and my Tacoma pickup. They are pricey. About $67 for all three on the 996.

Okay thread resurrection but hey, last year I didn't need blades and this year I do. So far I'm hearing Bosch Icons are the way to go?

I like OEM blades. The newer "one piece" blades don't follow the contour of the windshield very well and they end up missing the windshield at the tip of the blade.

I tried, unsuccesfully I might add, to go with two different sets of name brand blades from my local auto parts store to save a few $, each of which worked like crap! Especially the passenger side, because previously mentioned...that one is a curved blade. An OEM set of Bosche are $60-70, but I found them for $29 from a guy that runs an ebay store out of Oregon. I think his ebay store is called drivingsource. He shipped them right away, they are exact factory replacements, and most importantly...they work as they should!

I just gave up and went to the dealer parts department. They do not sell replacement blades, only replacement wipers, blades and arms togeather.
Cost me $60 for the pair. Porsche says it does not believe replacing the blades themselves, only the entire wiper arms.

That's nothing. Starting with the E90 3-Series, BMW went with a factory-designed wiper. $80+ and not that easy to install.

But then, any time I have a parts or repair bill under $100 for the 911 I just smile and write the check
