Durametric Versatility?
I have a Durametric for the prosche but bought a retired tv station remote broadcast van so bought a OBD2 Innova 3150b scanner that does ABS. Turns out I can't read codes from the van. I'm still trouble shooting in case the E-350 Super Duty van is readable. Darn scanner ad said fords and abs. Scanner even scans the porsche no problem. Just wondering if anybody has tried their Durametric on any non Porsche vehicles. Yah I'm chicken and just have to figure out if some other scanner works and if it just the one I bought screwing up. I don't think I'd be able to get past the type of car menus hehehe.

Three Wheelin'
Durametric only works on a Porsche and can access the "porsche specific areas" of the ECU and other modules.
Any generic code reader can access the "obd2 generic" portion of the ECU on a porsche.

I'm going to install HF ham radio gear to make myself happy and make it good for emergency response times by having a repeater setup in it. Then there’s the wireless internet it can relay. It’s got satellite capabilities so we are good there. The mast has a mount for a big camera and can raise 150 pounds so pretty much anything can go up in the air including temp. cell phone antennas. Some companies like to test locations for towers so the mast going up 45 feet gives a good idea of a locations characteristics.
