Default 04 C4S tires for 19" wheels ?

I have stock 18" turbo twist wheels on my 4S now
front: 225/40-ZR18 ( 8" wide )
rear: 295/30-ZR18 ( 11" wide )

The wheels I want to buy ( Roderrick RW5 ) are 19"
front: 8.5" wide
rear : 11" wide
and are hub centric for 996's - no spacers required

A wheel retailer told me I would need the following tire size for the RW5 wheel
front: 235/35-ZR19
rear: 315/25-ZR19

and when I went to Tire Rack's website and did the fitment it showed
front: 225/35 - ZR19
rear: 315/25- ZR19
they also showed only the Michelin PS2 available in both sizes

Are either of these correct ? Anyone have experience with the proper size for a 19" wheel like this ? I don't want to roll my fenders - just a simple swap and minimize the effect on the all wheel drive system . Any feedback is appreciated !

315/25 and 235/35 or 225/35 is the correct size for 19" Wheels on a 996 WB

315/25/19 are Discontinued by all brands.
Michelin might make some more, but people doubt it.
There are a few thread on 6speed on this Topic is lots of Info on 315/25 Tires

Only Option is 305/30/19 with 225/40/19 or 235/35/19

I have been running 315/25 with 235/35 since 2007 Summer.
First 4 years Toyo T1R's (Best Tires Ever) went thru 2 Sets of Rear and 1 Set of Front in 4 Summers, then i had Pirelli Rosso which last 1 Summer lols and now on my last set of Michelin PS2 which looks like it will last this Summer only.
Next Summer i sell my 19's and go back to 18" Wheels

I wouldn't do that if I had a C4.

225/35/19, 315/25/19 is the ideal
235/35/19, 295/30/19 is pretty common.
245/35/19, 295/30/19 is a better fit in diameter for a C4, but may not fit depending on your front offset.

OP and I have a C4S (Widebody)...
I never implied these sizes for a Narrowbody C4 like yours.
That size will definatly not work proper on a narrowbody.

295/30 would work but Tire is too Narrow for 11.5" or 12" Wheels which most 19 Wheels are for 996 WB

245/35 like you said might be too wide in a 19" Wheel as it would Rub Against the Plastic Wheel Wells

305/30 with 225/40 or 235/35 are both within 3% Diff so there should be no issues

Thanks for the heads up , Zook . I guess it's never easy - I was hoping for a no brainer "plug and play " . Maybe I should Plasti-dip my twists, huh ? I have the polished wheels and to me they look like they belong on a low rider . I'll keep looking for some nice 18" wheels but haven't seen many to my taste so far.
