Rattle at cold start?

The rattle is the squirls slamming their lockers rushing to work.

I really liked my air-cooled cars, especially the '87 Cab, and I love my 996. It is more comfortable and it's easier to get in and out . My '01 also has a better Air Conditioner. Since I am in the process of preparing to replace the water pump, thermostat and certain coolant hoses, I must admit that I miss the old days a little. Not that I want another older 911, but I ponder the idea of an air-cooled 996.
