Default Right Rear quarter window regulator, convertible

After much struggle (and lost skin) finally got it out...was hoping for the best.

But no luck, all pulleys are ok, but the cable is so chewed up/kinked that cannot be straightened (see pics), and even if I was able to straighten it some , I would be mortified thinking that it would jump out out again.

Already ordered a new one from Suncoast, this regulator was a royal pain to take out.

Looks like the worst part is over. Best of luck with the rest of the install.
P.S. So glad mine got fixed by the seller (he disclosed it prior to sale, fixed at his expense)

Thanks for the comments...I expect much less difficulty getting the new one in when it arrives.... (knowing what I know now)

Hi, i just search on google.....the company is called regulatorusa.com.....I was scared to send my regulator to them but I thought it was broken anyway so why not....The next day that they got my package, they shipped it back to me.... once I got it back, had it installed and I have a working window....I know the price of the new regulator 600.00+... but this cost me 150.00 + 20 dollars to ship. Not a bad deal.

Hi Pesuazo.

I have the same problem on my 2000 Cab. I not sure how to remove the panel to get to the defective part(s). I have been searching for the repair instruction on both Rennlist and Renntech sites but have no luck.
Would you mind to write the repair instruction for us.

Thank you in advance fro your help.
