18' Fuchs Look-A-Likes (Iozzio Wheels)
As I look to replace my wheels, I'd really like to go toward a classics Fuchs-looks but want to stay with an 18-inch wheel. Not a lot of options out there. The other day I came across these Iozzio wheels.

Pretty darn close in terms of general look, albeit a bit more "chromey." Anyone seen or heard of these used on a 996? Thoughts?

Yeah, they apparently do them in ceramic as well -- probably more muted just not featured in the pictures. Would love to see a better developed photo gallery. When they show them on highly rodded cars, it doesn't do them any favors with the potential Porsche buyers but I applaud them for making the wheels. They have potential!

To each his own. I think they look great ... Fuchs Performance has a great "configurator" .... but alas they don't have 18s. Fun to play with this....

I think they look pretty good too. Wonder if there is a 996 owner out there that has them.
I have seen the 997 Spyder that comes with the fuchs in person and I think they look great!
Not sure how on the 996 though

I had the black and silver Fuchs on my '80 SC back in the early '80s and thought they looked great then. I still think they look better than most anything you could put on a P car of that era. Maybe it's because the wheel was such a large part of the overall package as far as the car design. The design lent itself well to 15 and 16 inch wheels, small compact robust and strong. When executed in the 18" size the wheel looks overly heavy, and too much bling. Todays tires are ultra low profile and wheel designs are much more open and light, the trend is less is more, show your calipers and very little tire. The Fuchs design with the heavy webbed reinforced gusseted spokes doesn't work for me on a later P car in the current sizes. Just my take, to each their own.

I think Nick49 nailed it -- maybe the windmill blade look just worked better with the tires size and profile of an earlier era. I guess I like the Fuchs look in theory on a 996. In practice, the more I look at it and the more I play with the configurator it feels blingy.

I think in the traditional finish these would look awesome. They look a lot more like Fuchs than the ones advertised in Excellence and touted here from time to time. Have no idea about the workmanship. A new $3000 set of wheels doesn't make sense for me on a $20,000 car but I'd love to have 'em!
