Default The best combo of mods! IMHO

Well, I have had many 996's and done lots to them. But I have to say that the combination of two mods really are great. At least I think so.

I did the Clutch Assistance Spring removal and liked the results. I just did a Short Shifter and the combo of the two is perfect! Crisp clean shifting same place every time and didn't cost much to do.

Just figured I would share my .02

+1....have not done the spring removal yet but makes complete sense. The SSK is great alone in its own right. Lock and load feel. I need to do the spring DIY.

I had never heard about the Spring mod until a few months back. Did it first and liked it.

DO a SSK and you will be in love

i have heard in the 99's with the drive by wire that the clutch mechanism feels loose when you take the spring out, so i have been hesitant to do so..
