Question Oil Leak - Driver's Side (not RMS)?

I have a small oil leak, on the driver's side (U.S., left hand side). It seems to come from the front of the engine, but not where the transmission meets the engine. Instead, it seems to come from NEXT to the transmission somewhere, but I can't tell where. It runs down the engine, and collects as shown in the picture. I get maybe a few drips per day on the garage floor.

It is not coming from spark plug tubes; I just did those. It's a '99 C2. with 53k miles.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks Ed, Your AOS comment earlier today is what reminded me to post this picture. Thought it might be an AOS thing. Anyone else have a different theory?

Can you chase the seepage all the way to the top of the engine (to where the AOS is)?

My bet is the bellows that connects to the AOS is torn.

AOS most likely. Could also be cam advance solenoid leaking at the seal. Least likely would be the scavenger pump, looks like there is oil higher than the scavenger pump though.

Default Oil Leak - Cause found and repaired

It turns out my oil leak was the Air Oil Separator (AOS), as predicted by the gurus here. Had it replaced when my clutch was done.
