Also updated the registry for you and a bunch of other recent 40th owners.
Thanks for adding to the Registry. Seems a lot of folks like the 40th for the standard options. It has 44k on the clock. No mods other than the lights that I can tell. This is a CPO car, purchased from Brumos in Jacksonville. They went through it pretty good but I have a few very small issues I'm going to have them look at this week.

I'm going to resist the urge to mod it much. I know, that's what everyone says right?

This is my first Porsche. I've always wanted one but life just seemed to keep one from being in the family. I've owned several other sports cars (Corvettes and RX-7s mostly).

Default 2004 911 40th #1020 Auto X

I bought #1020 from Porsche of Colorado Springs (CPO) on 4th July 2011. Here it is in it's 1st AutoX. It has about 61k miles. It came from Brumos in FL and has Harley Hayewood's signature in the window.

So cool OldPoorMan. I have a friend/workmaite that lives in Littleton that is active in Solo in that area. His name is Tom, drives a Miata with blue stripes.

I hope to run a solo event here in Jax in October. A bit hot down here in August/September. Yeah, I'm a wimp!

My 40th was originally purchased a Brumos and serviced there all it's life so I have full records.

So far love the car. The features of the 40th make it a special car indeed. I met Hurley at the Concours in Amelia Island back at the Porsche feature event (1999 I think). I hope to run into him again and have him sign the underside of the hood.

Thanks for sharing the picture. What a lot of fun!

Default #1012

Hey guys, first post ever, but long time lurker. I just sold a 99 c2 and bought #1012 40th Anniversary Edition last Saturday. I picked her up with 43,000 miles on it down in Colorado Springs, but I live in Denver.

I want to mention that I am floored by the performance of this thing. Coming from a modded 99 c2, this things is unbelievably more powerful!!!

I suppose I need to post some pics, huh?

I'd love to have 3 40th's at a JAX solo event sometime! I'll be back in October but I'm in Rhode Island for now.

I love my 40th a lot - I went ahead and had preventative maintenance done!

Worth the peace of mind to me. I know the IMS Guardian is coming out, but I wanted to nip the problem in the bud before it ever had a chance to start.

Jake and Dean over at Flat 6 are really great and professional - keeping you in the loop as things move along with updates etc. Highly recommended item!

erbench, that's really neat, you must have got the other one that was in Colorado Springs, at a Mazda dealer, I think. Being close by the dealer is a lot better, when trying to buy a used car. I was from Cincinnati area (Westchester) and the closest one to me was like 600 miles. I decided I really wanted to get a CPO one because I'd have to go a great distance for one I'd likely buy, make a decision and take it home. Not really a lot of time for checking it out. That's why I chose the one from the Porsche dealer in Colorado Springs. Little more miles than I would like but it was CPO. Good luck with yours. They do drive great. Even better when you get back to Ohio altitudes instead of Denver. Of course you get to drive faster on the highways than we do.

I did get that one at the Mazda dealership. I don't really think they new what they were selling. It does suck that I am losing about 20% hp due to altitude here, but the mountain roads more than make up for it!

Here are a few photos of my car.

Looks nice with tint. The laws in RI don't allow tint

Spotted: saw a 40th here in Houston today in my parking garage. Had a HUGE GT2 type wing with the downturned winglets (was as wide as the car!) and was sporting 5 spoke chrome rims with 2 or 3" lips. Didn't get any pics because I didn't want to break my camera

Sorry if it's a RennLister's car, but it was not attactive (to me anyway!)

Congrats on the car. Added to the registry. You're the first ROW 40th in a long while to post from what I remember. Post a pic when you get a chance so we can see the ROW M030.

I would have loved a pic. I actually want a GT2 wing on my car lol. Did it look like any of the pics on page 2 of this thread?

Didn't look like any on p.2. It was *ahem* hideous. Next time I see it I'll snap some pics.
