Balanced the tires for the 5th time
Don't even ask. I've been to Big O tires FIVE times and they cannot balance the tires on my '99. It does the JIG at 70 MPH.
I stand there while they do it and watch these yoyo's treat my car like I just pulled in for a pit stop at the Indianapolis 500. I ask them to be careful and take their time but I am convinced they have CRAP equipment, here in Cave Creek Arizona.

I bought new rear tires about a month and a half ago. Sumi HTZ III's on the rear and PZero's up front. Long story, when I got the car it had a bubble in both the front and rear drivers side tires. I found a new 205/50-17 Pzero on eBay for $60.00 and decided to change both rears. Then I got a nail on the right front. So Big O Tires has touched, unmounted, remounted, balanced, rebalanced, weights fell off, rebalanced, weights fell off AGAIN, rebalanced this last time with DUCT tape over the weights except its shaking like me ex-girl friend's vibrator.
I'm going to make the sign of the cross and take it to Discount Tire in the morning. No fun having a 911 if you cant drive faster than 70 MPH

It will be more expensive, but many p-car dealers have the nice road force balance where they can detect run out and bent wheels. My dealer fixed mine up nice for $110 then 10% PCA discount.

Maybe something like breaking the tires in got missed? The tires are over aged like past 6 yrs or so? Since you mention both the front and back left side tire got bubbles I have to figure you took the tires through some hard turns with out breaking them in first? The wheel weights problems is fools not cleaning the rim and or having good weights that stick.
If you didn't have vibration prior to this place then probably its the tires. But it could be suspension maildies too.

I had my car in Porsche last week and asked them about it, they told me the tires need to be balanced. Stubborn me was determined to have Big O Tires do it right so I went back for more of the same. NO MORE.

When I purchased my car back in Feb, the dealer had put new front tires on. The balance is perfect! It was an Audi dealer, which is probably why! Discount tire never gets my tires perfect. Close, but always a little shimmy in there at like 65 or so, then disappears. My Vett at Chevy, was also perfect!
Id say go to the P dealer!

Make sure what ever tires you get to break them in with 100 miles at least of easy driving and braking.
You guys have to quit making me worry about when I change tires coming up here some time soon.

I think what you have found, but not realized, is that it is really "Big-Zero" not Big-O.
Worst of the worst and even Walmart is preferable to Big-Zero in every case

Go on the Tire Rack site and look for one of their Recommended Installers. I'll never let Discount Tire touch another one of my cars. The shop I used in California had to replace a new rim on my Volvo after mounting, and the one here in Texas left marks around the lugs when they put the rims back on the car.

I am a big fan of discount tire, they have been very helpfull over the years with both my race car and DD. I make sure that they understand what I expect from them. They have fairly high employee turnover so you have to re-play with the new crews/managers. I think you have to do this with most shops, if you find a good one stick with them, if not move on. ( I also make sure they are well aware of my annual tire budget).
