Default Opinions on Valeo Ultimate wiper blades (frameless) - does it look weird on a 996?

I had installed the frameless wiper blades from Bosch and Valeo on my previous cars that didn't originally have the frameless blades - but they looked weird. The arm stuck up too high from the windshield and just looked ugly.

Anyone with any experience and pictures :-)

there is a wind deflector on the stock wiper... that alone should be a good reason to stay oem.

I put frameless on in the winter. Never go too fast with them. They're uglier from the inside than from the outside.

Here's the earlier thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...st-wipers.html

Valeos have been great. In MA I'm sure you've been through the hassle of swapping winter blades on and off. The Valeos are fine in the summer and fine in the ice.

Are you really asking US how they look? Trust your own eyes...then decide.

My OE blades never worked very well for long; The Valeo replacements work better for far longer

Slow enough for me to say I wish I could get rid of a fine streak of missed spot my oem's leave. I've got a quick fix pair but eh.

I'm still wondering if the refill blades really fit. I didn't see how to fanagle refills in last I looked.

ok these are beautiful
wiper blades? really? 'beautiful?'

The car they are attached to is, but the blades on their own... nost so much, for me at least

The important question is whether this brand covers the passenger side completely at highway speed. That was my problem with the Bosch Icons as opposed to OEM.

From my limited experience with the Valeos on my wife's car I won't be putting them on the 911, she totaled hers the next day. I'm almost positive that she was admiring the shiny new wipers and missed the policeman stopped in front of her. Well she didn't exactly miss him, just seeing that he was there. She was doing 25-30 in traffic on main street.
