To the top coming down, the windows, or both?

First the windows will all come down (all 4 at once).
Keeping the key turned in the door and the top should start to unlatch and fold down.

Look at the dash while doing this to see if the 'top malfunction light' is blinking.
[yes, a bit off topic].

None of the above. Only thing that happens is the door unlocks. 😟

I believe you have a door key window issue as the windows must report "all down" before the top will work. If the windows don't roll down the top sequence will not start.

Therefore:
Start a new thread (or tag onto an existing thread) with your window issue.
And ask the Moderators to remove the sections above in order to keep this thread on topic.

By default, the side markers do not flash. There is a DIY on Renntech.org that explains how to make them flash with your turn signals. I've done it and it's an easy DIY. You must be a paid member on that site to view the DIYs. Well worth it.

Default Abs psm light due to led third and rear lights

You'll need to make sure the lights show a 4-6ohm resitance across them , ( leds are 256k+ohms for most lights) a 6 ohm 50 watt resistor across the wires will make them work correctly, the resistors must be mounted to metal and in an area that they cannot touch anything as they get hot, this is especially true with the third brake light. Otherwise Abs psm lights and no cruise.

To solve this problem I installed a 50 watt halogen bulb in the stop light circuit using the NC contacts of a 12 volt relay. Without stop lights on the bulbs represents a LOW resistance load but with 12 volts applied to the stop light LEDS the relay picks up and removes the bulb from the circuit.

CC uses stop light applied voltage as a signal to turn off automatically. With LEDs installed, no bulb resistive load, the stop light voltage will "float" up to as much as 2 volts which is enough to make the CC inop.

Default OEM center wheel caps look brand new

Not sure this applies, but I pulled off one of my center wheel caps and noticed what I thought was clear coat peeling off the cap. I began to peel back the clear coat and what I discovered was that there was simply a clear plastic film that was applied, I assume, at the factory for protection during shipping only. The plastic was similar to what one finds on electronic components that most people forget to remove until they realize that it was not meant to remain across the screen. I removed the plastic film from all four center caps an after 15 years they look brand new.

Not really official but....after 16 years and 136,000 miles the hood shocks gave out and would not hold the hood up anymore. Replaced with OE hood shocks. I did not know that the hood shocks actually "raise" the hood up. Just lift a little bit and let go...and up the hood goes! I always thought that they just held the hood up.

Not much to add here, but if you are unfortunate enough to still have a cassette tape holder, it does make a nice iPhone 6 holder by propping the phone on the two top "trays" and wedging in between the radio *****. Holds pretty well for GPS usage on all but the hardest of turns. Either way, I still plan on getting a double DIN with touchscreen soon.

Well I'll be ordering some new hood shocks this evening.

It's a good idea to occasionally check the engine/trunk emergency releases: My frunk cable was disengaged at the latch.

Don't think it's been mentioned on this thread, but the 911(996) is great in the winter and snow with the right set of snow tires. Drove mine all winter with a set of Blizzaks and it handled like a dream on snow and ice.

This may be common sense to some, but I literally just figured out that you are supposed to place the windscreen on top of this little ****. Makes the windscreen much more rigid.
