Default 100,000 Mile Club

It’s official; I’m a member of the 100,000 mile club. I joined two minutes after taking the photo below. Only 60,000 more miles to go before the engine joins; which I have no doubts it will. Sorry for the poor photo quality; it’s a cheap camera.

Cool

Well, I'm nowhere near that with my car, but it is a really idea when I get there - 99,996. Cool
So it only took two more minutes to run the next 4 miles...
I wish I had a place to run that fast for that far. Tough even at the tracks to average 120 mph for 2 or more laps.
Hope mine lasts as long as yours. Congrats on the milestone.

116.8k on mine - original engine. Doesn't burn or drip any oil - runs strong and smooth.

My alternator just died this week, though, so I got that replaced along with my AOS, which had gone out a couple months ago. I should be good to go with any major stuff for a long time.

I drive the crap out of my car and never "baby" it, and it's treated me well.

Hey way to go on the club! Your car looks great. I also stepped into the club a couple months ago and am about 104k now. I am not too scared to be here with you. In fact, I am proud that my car is doing so well. Like the other guy who says... I DRIVE it and DONT baby it.. I agree... the cars want to run..not putt around in a parking lot.

Keep the loud pedal pushed and hope to see you in the 200k club someday

It’s a car meant to be driven, hard. The only time I baby her is when I give her a bath. I have to go put on my race pads; I have three DEs to do by the end of September.

If prices keep dropping, I think one of these higher mileage original motors might be the perfect platform for a boosted track toy, old school nascar taxi-block style!

I'm not too far behind you, couldn't help taking this shot on my way to work on July 31
I've also replaced the alternator, AOS, and coil packs.
Original engine and no oil leaks at all. Hope there'll be no major issues for a long time.

I'm now a member of the 3,000 mile club. I guess that doesn't count for much...

Phil, I'll die of shock if you ever hit the 10,000 mile club.

Hey, I missed you at the tristate run today... what's the deal, did the rain scare you away?

..photos to come.

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Well, the one that says, "Porsche....is a two syllable word".

Congrats.
