Default Clips/sockets for terminating wire in fuse box?

Does anybody know the part number or where other than Porsche I could find the metal clip that you plug the fuses into?

I'm hard wiring in a radar detector and few other bits to the fuse box in one of the empty slots. I'd like to snag a few of those clips and use stock type fuses (of the appropriate rating) in the normal fuse box instead of those junker round inline fuse holders most electronics come with.

The heated seat socket is hot, ignition switched and looks like it should supply 25amps were the other half wiring harness going to the non-existent heated seats there. 5 amp fuse for the detector and FM transmitter Ipod adapter should be fine.

If you looking for fuse taps-Radio Shack part # 270-1204 are automotive blade fuse taps, about $2 for a pack of 4

Look like what I'm thinking of, I think. Are those for bringing the wire out the back of the box like the stock wiring harness, or doing a quick and dirty tap off the front of the panel? I couldn't quite tell from the pictures and description on the linked page.

Quick and dirty tap off the fuse, exiting the fuse side of the panel. Less than ideal, but usually better (for most people, anyway) than splicing into the factory wiring.

Thanks for the info, will keep looking and hit up the Porsche dealer this weekend. It's easy to get to the back of the fuse box, and I won't really even have to splice into the factory harness, as there's just a empty plastic hole on one side and ignition switched 12v on the other. I'll just have to route the wire out nice and tidy with the harness if I get the right socket to put in the empty hole in the fuse box.

Found a parts diagram, but can't figure out which one is the piece I need. Anybody know which one it is out of http://www.pelicanparts.com/PartsLoo...-00-Frame3.htm, or might it be something out of the wiring harness catalog?

you might take a look at the following:http://www.whiteson.org/boxster/mods/drl/
it's the same concept, different application.
