CEL code help - P1126, P1133, P0102
UPS had the code reader waiting for me when I got home, so now I have a bit more information.
Information at idle:
Adaption, range 2 (FRA), bank 1: 1.30%
Mass air flow: 21.3 kg/h
Fault codes:
P1126 - Factory Fault Code 356 - O2 sensing adaptation, lower load range, bank 1
P1133 - Factory Fault Code 358 - O2 sensing adaptation, lower load range, bank 2
P0102 - Factory Fault code 115 - Mass Airflow Sensor. Below Limit
I have not reset the light yet, and could pull more information. It is a 2001 996 C4 with about 40k miles. Time to clean the Mass Airflow Sensor?

Another bit of information - the PSM turned off and the ABS lights came on the day before. The next time I started the car, both were normal - but the CEL came on.

fra should be aprox 1.0
rkat should be 0.0 being that they are - it shows that the engine is running rich
and pulling fuel
maf voltage is actualy about right, your looking for voltage of 1.1 with the car off and 1.4 with the car at idle after the air pump has shut off
really the kg isnt that far off either its on the higher side of normal but not out side of normal
the p0102 tells me that cleaning the maf probaly isnt going to cut it and your likely going to need a new one.
I would recomoned trying to clean it, spray liberaly with electronics cleaner and let it dry complety before you reinstall, but i do think you going to have get a new one

I recently had a similar issue on my 996 turbo and this is the first thread that came up after a google search for the p1133 and p1126 codes so I figured I'd respond with how I resolved my issue for others future reference. I only had the P1133 and P1126 codes. I first cleared the codes and they came back within a few drive cycles. I then disconnected the MAF to see if that was the issue and the car seemed to run better, indicating that the MAF was likely malfunctioning. Be aware that your PSM and ABS lights will come on when the MAF is unplugged but will turn off after 2 drive cycles with the MAF plugged back in. Since it appeared the MAF was the issue I pulled the MAF out and cleaned it using CRC MAF cleaner and the codes have not returned after about 800 miles. I'll replace the MAF eventually but since this is working, I'll leave it for now. Hope this helps someone out
