I Just saw 3 997 TT!!! They are here!
I was just at my local dealer picking up my car, and to my surprise they had 3 cars!! One yellow ,the press car, and 2 Black ones, Both are sold!. Ok I heard the car and it sounds great, however my fears of not really liking the car is a reality, IMHO its not a great looking car, it just doesnt have that WOW factor. So in short I may be giving up the one I have on order for the new 997 GT3,dont worry I have a home for the TT , my brother may want it. The point of this thread is this....If you want to see it they should be hitting your local dealers soon as well. If your Local , Pfaff Porsche in Woodbridge has them.

yea, I saw them unloading several yesterday also. The wheels have gotta go. I saw an older Mitsu Eclipse about 5 minutes later and he had wheels that looked almost the exact same. That confirmed my belief on just how ugly the wheels are.

Today, in the mail, I got an invitation from the local Porsche dealer to attend the official launch of the 997 Turbo on Friday, 6/23. I may go down there and take a quick look at them. Could be interesting.

Let's see....Tech Art side intakes, ugly wheels, GT2 wing, ugly exhaust and they can't even paint the rockers body color on the red one? I have loved every turbo since the 70's but right now this is the ugliest turbo I have ever seen. I hope it grows on me?

My theory is that they intentionally make the stock wheels ugly so that you pay the xtra to upgrade them to tequipment ones. The Stock 997 C2 wheels with the thick spokes are some of the fugliest wheels around IMO.
