Rock Chip Solution
Arter having placed my order for a 2002 996 C-2 CAB, I now begin the excruciatingly long and torcherous WAIT for its arrival in, hopefully, Sept. or Oct.
This leaves me with entirely too much time to start thing about assembling the various little nick nacks I neurotically must have to fill the lonely garage in anticipation of its arrival. This is something akin to three months of foreplay
!
Having said all that I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the plastic film advertised in Excellence for rock chip protection? My past experience with using a bra for the front end tended to leave minute scratches in the clearcoat as it ground in the fine dust which would accumulate during normal use. Any help?
