A 1997 Boxster with a complete 996 Turbo front end, 996 motor and a lot more. The pisture is the car with Mike Yager owner of Tweeks and Mid America Direct behind the wheel.

In person the car is anything but Tacky. But then to each their own in the taste department. Just curious but did you find anything nice about the Tweekster?

I like the car myself...I love to see people getting creative with their cars...How many silver/black Boxsters can we see on the roads ?
Keep up the mods and put some personality in your cars.
Best Regards.

Bill, I've never been a fan of the Boxster, it always seemed kind of wimpy. Looking at the pictures of yours with the new front end, and rear lip it actually looks rather beefy now. I wouldn't have gone for the yellow rims but that's a color issue not a bodystyle issue. Car looks great!

Looks different but some do not like non-conformity. I have no criticism just that it looks different and I admire your 'bravado'. Stola did something similar but more on the TT engine than looks. Hope you do add TT engine in due course.
As for a 2-seater that will put Porsche back on top of the motoring press's wish list, wait for the Carrera GT. What a car - cost not withstanding!
Just a pity that a different looking Boxster gets critics but it is OK for 996 owners to fit GT3 kits on their cars - me included.
