I think there is a thread around here somewhere or on 6speedonline from the member that originally bought the car and then re did the entire interior. No expense spared. I'm shocked at the asking price as the car is in pristine condition and from the looks of it. Quite sure there is thread in here somewhere, unless I am confused but doubt it, looks too familiar.

Funny, this is exactly like a car that had a heavy engine modification some years back that rendered it less than reliable.
Not saying it IS that car, but sure look exactly like the one I remember. Either way, I'd make sure to get it heavily inspected with a comprehensive PPI before purchase.
Further, the seats look off to me, and don't appear to be originally upholstered, and whoever re-did them, did a lackluster job, it appears.
Good luck!

I believe this car was owned and modified by RL amgfan. Very nice car, the reason for not selling is likely it's just to unoriginal and possible time of year too.

If it was amgfan's car, my recollection is that he painted a perfectly good arctic silver car to polar silver just because he liked polar better . Nice looking car.

Paging JD Hertz............
This was JD's car - sold it to Jon (amgfan) who is a modifying freak. I sold him my W124 Mercedes E500 'coupe' while he was converting this 993tt. While the modifications and deviation from original may not be to everyone's taste, the work was carried out to a very high standard. I also sold him the BBS LM wheels that are on the car - which are perfect. From memory, he also had the interior completely re-trimmed in Ferrari leather as he preferred the feel over Porsche leather.
Jon disappeared not long after completing the car - not sure why.
I would imagine that the lower asking price reflects the non-original factor & potential doubts about why the car was repainted.
