Default 95 BTR vs 96 turbo R

One of my friends has an opportunity to pick up a 95 BTR. He has listed after my turboR and was wondering the difference
Years back there were some Rennlist era in California (Pong??with a BTR and Niche? With a turboR. As well as Steve with Rufus)
Could any of you make comments about drivability etc
Thanks bob

BTR was a single, large turbo vs. 2 turbos on the R. Therefore greater turbo lag on the BTR and then hang on for dear life when the boost kicks in. I believe the BTR is also rear wheel drive as opposed the the R.

I have an early 930 BTR and agree with bbs993tt, BTR have a larger Turbo in which i have a K29, and rear wheel drive only versus the R awd.

My R is 2WD but most are AWD... if it's priced well, he should pick it up regardless!!!

I actually know your car pretty well... belonged to my family. I have pictures in Puerto Rico before it underwent the RUF procedure and it was a Carrera S... this one was in Miami... of course already a RUF...
