Default Doing some cosmetics touch up and upgrades to my 993tt :)

Well, since some say the 993tt is lately too quite here are some photos I'm sharing doing some cosmetics in my car and as well some upgrades.

Flame on....

Engine bay dirty.....my city is dusty as hell btw....

Painted my my fan

Nasty fan housing....ready to bead blast it!

Added Turbokraft oil check valves...hopefully the oil coat you see on the intake elbow will be gone for good or will be minnor.

Nasty looking intercooler and as well the shroud. Time to correct them...

Some cleaning and some paint after....

Intercooler bracket bead blasted too....top parts are already re-coated (is not zinc coating, can't remember the name in english....below photos show it finished)

Engine supports as well....

Dirty throttle body

No surprise!!!

I also added a set of billet valves. Hopefully it will cure my random "weird" behavior under WOT

Also, as preventive service I decided to change the clutch with a higher clamping force pressure plate (bought the kit from a member here).

More to come....

Well, if those valves cure my random problem of loosen power at WOT, then I will say they probably add like 80 HP combined with the super heat exchanger black paint on the intercooler

Did the brakes as well, calipers looked factory tired and decided to clean them in/out and repaint them. Notice how distorsioned were the PORSCHE letters compared with the freshed paint/stencil.

From this....

To this....

Still need to make more progress....

Any pics of the blow off valve install. I've been thinking about replacing mine as an age related item. Thanks

It's almost a "Turbo S" from factory, including Sport Hardbacks, Aero II kit , turbo S oil cooler, X79 side vents in the rear fenders, etc....97' RoW 993tt. Only thing was added when new , or I would say, "retrofited" was the K24 turbos and Turbo S DME package offered by Porsche by the first owner, so is a 450 CV actually.
