Looking into buying this 993 turbo...
Currently own 993 C4 Cab. Looking to buy a turbo. Frustrated as I've done PPI on some and they had serious issues. Now considering this car from Sloan. Anyone here in the turbo forum have insight into it? Thank you...

Well, Sloan usually has good product, but I know nothing about that car. Great color.
Did you see the 2 993 Turbos in the Vehicle Marketplace? One Speed Yellow, the other Black.
Good luck with your hunt. Lucky man.

Yup--I've searched him on the forum. Well aware of the various opinions out there. I've previously been to his location and met with him (year or so ago) so I am familiar with him. The car I was considering at that time ended up not being the car that I wanted.
Figured I'd give this turbo forum a shot at producing some info on the car itself. We have a relatively tight 993 community here that we all value. I was hoping there was a chance this was a previous RL member car, etc... Or someone here knows the car and could help me wrap my head around any issues with the car.

Only seen this color on 993tt once before, Was a Car I think on Pelican, but it might have had more miles & had a lot of paintwork or been complete respray, Get Vin & google it, Get paint metered & good PPI.

I was considering buying this car about a month ago. Spoke to Sloan a few times about it.
It was a combination of his price, some bits of his reputation, and my general lack of knowledge about the particular car...so I shied away.

just making sure you are aware that the color is turquoise blue METALLIC, which is very different than turquoise blue (L3AS). it is advertised in the title slightly in a misleading way. this is a much greener hue than perhaps the photos let on. tbm is a rare color, mostly because it was very particular and still doesn't suit everyone's taste. otoh, tb is a rare color, because not many wanted it at the time. now it is a highly prized factory color, in part due to the notoriety of seinfeld's infamous 993 turbo S in tb, in part because it is has aged well in the serendipity of porschephile revisionist history.
