Default DME relay

I'm replacing it with this. Heard this was better and more reliable. Iv never replaced mine so I'm going to do it now before it gives me issues that could domino.

Thanks!

I can't believe how cheap these are getting. Splurged for the $28 Hungarian OEM version from Pelican 5 years ago because I read somewhere the solders were more reliable. Bought 2 for 1/2 the price of one from the stealer. Original was the Porsche 944 part. Still have it. Works fine but why wait for a decades old part, known to fail, to pack it in before replacing it? Carry 2 extras - one for you and one for a buddy.

Mine finally gave up the ghost! Thanks all that suggested having a spare in the glovebox!

Keep that spare relay in the car!

Bought a few of these. One for myself and few other stocking stuffers. No need for my spare DMEs now except to help stranded folks on the side of the road..

Hey Chao, which relay did you go with for your TT … fuel primed or std … any reason why?

Thx

I think you only need regular for 993s because 993s will prime but I bought the primed version. It makes more of a difference for 964s.
