Question Question: Fair market value for 993 Turbo Brakes (photos!)

Hi there,

Wanted your honest opinion on the fair market value on a set of 993 Turbo brake calipers with 35K and fresh refinished (refinishing cost $600).

We may have a set available soon, please only PM if you are interested but post for feedback on the OP question on value.

Thank you,

These are about $1K a pop now. Have the pistons/seals all been replaced? I can see there are no plates installed so thats about $100 a caliper to spend. I would think about the $2300 mark?

Thank you,
New calipers are around £1350 + vat, so go from that.

Check the price of new - I think you will be surprised how cheap they are new, $2300 is a set of four. Saying that, I sold my very tired and unpainted calipers for £700, so about 50% of new price

Come on old chap, its 2016 now!

Calipers are nearly £700 each plus VAT! Brembo doubled prices early last year

That's very reasonable, where did you find that price? Everywhere I've looked they are more than that. Send a link please.
