Im all for appreciation of all porsches. I have 4, but i think dealer overpaid, they might have to hold it till spring. Not a lot of tirekickers in the frigid temps next 6 weeks. I might throw a number at them and see if i get any interest. Imo. Huge difference between 20k miler and near 60k. Still kicking myself i didnt buy a 993 in 2004 when i bought my 996tt

A few other comparables:
Black/black (arguably more salable than red/black) with 59k miles that has been relisted over and over without a bit of interest at $142k, BIN of $147k:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/391369554242?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Black/black, 47k miles, also relisted forever, started at $139k, $134k currently:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/151950256164?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Red/gray, 59k miles, relisted many times at $129k:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/121870862179?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
And a funny one: white/blue, 70k miles (which I'd say is in the same class as a 60k-mile car) that was in a rare no-reserve auction last summer, got bid to and "sold" for about $135k, but for some reason was relisted by the same seller a couple weeks later at $139k. Ever since, it has sat motionless, with a little bit lopped off the asking price every few months.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/182001023367?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
These are just ones that have been in my eBay watch list for a while, so they're kind of low hanging fruit, but still illustrate the market for driver cars in my opinion. There are something like 55 TTs on Autotrader (or maybe it was cars.com) last I checked.

Cant understand how a driver 60k mile 993tt can be a $140-150k car? I can fully understand that a 5k mile 993tt can go for any money. As a owner of a original paint 993tt with almost 60k miles it feels like a $100k dollar car. I know they sell for more in todays market but I wouldn't be surprised to see these cars get a price adjustment soon.

I haven't been on the 993TT boards for awhile. I just realized, however, that this 59K black/black '97 is the car I sold (private party sale) last March (2015). I would argue a black/black is also more "salable" as well. PLUS this car has hardback sports seats (rare) and red front seatbelts. In addition a '97 will always command a somewhat higher premium than a '96 due to less produced (612 sold in US market in '97 vs 1300 ish for '96) as well as it being the last year of AC TT's. I owned the car for 6 years and can attest to the fact that the car is in great shape. Paperwork and ownership history on it goes back to at least 2001 as well. Bottom line is if u can get that car for mid 140's then that red '96 is probably worth $125-$130K at best

Oh, I remember you selling that! Thanks for the background. Some people act like any AC 911 that doesn't sell in 2 days must have 3 undisclosed resprays and a seized engine to explain it, but it sounds like that should be a pretty nice car.

Yep Skwerl that was my car. When I sold it, though, I had clear side markers on it. The buyer put the amber colored ones back on as he wanted it to look "stock". I liked clear better. Also, I had the stock 993 Turbo wheels on the car.....don't the wheels on it now more resemble 996 Turbo twists? Maybe it's just the camera angle

Yes those are 996 twists, not sure why someone would've got rid of the original 993 hollow twists.
And Parnelli, the car does look pretty mint in the pictures. One thing that caught my eye was the good condition of the sport seats and overall front end.

I looked at the car again last night and the above black car is in far better shape, paint needs a good claybar and some swirl correction and everything has evidence of the 60K miles of wear. the speedometer lens is also cracked and bumpers have definitely been resprayed.

Yeah, I've been watching that one fall, among others.
For example, Parnelli's former car has been dropping, too. $132,770 at the moment.
