Default Turbo with Tip?

Many posts have alluded to a Tip,being inadequate to handle a TT. Does this belie that idea?

pictures seem to show a shifter (doesn't look like a tip shifter)

certainly a manual but on a side note that's a decent price for an "S" wonder what's wrong with it?

wonder if anyone has tried transplanting a 996tt tip box into a 993tt - I understand those can take big power
