Question PSS10 ADJUSTMENT QUESTION?

Wondering why the blue adjustment ***** won't turn higher (stiffer) than the 6 rear/4 front I had them set at when they were installed on Tuesday? Downward (softer) adjustment works fine. One of my '96 C4S buddies says his turn easily through the full 10 settings with the suspension compressed ie not jacked. Any ideas? Thanks.

+ 1 on the full range without needing to raise the car. I settled on 6F and 8R and love the feedback / feel etc

What height did you settle on? ROW or RS+10?

Enjoy the new meaner stance

Thanks guys. ROW. I have driveway/garage clearance constraints and it's pretty much my favourite setting anyway. Sooooo, had 'er up on the lift fixing my second tire nail of the season and they're turning pretty freely now.

You can actually adjust them without lifting the car, a bit tricky but possible.

Fronts - turn the wheel either full left or right. With a mirror you'll be able to locate the **** from behind the wheel. The rears you just have to lay on the floor.

Yes it took me about and hour to get the mirror/work light coordinated and find that darn little red mark on the rear shocks. The ***** are a bit stiff though. I'll get my tech to give them a full twist. Once they've gone through a few twists they move very easily. I re-adjust my mountain bike shocks all the time so I want to be able to do the car on a whim without having to lift it.

No problems with mine on ground or lift.

I have taken to "zeroing" then each time I adjust, go to 1 or 10, then click forward or back to desired setting. So done by "feel" without looking at numbers with mirror.

My PSS10s have indicator marks showing what setting they are at (saves all the fiddling around), I know the PSS9s didn't have this feature.

After you do it a few times, although adjusting them isn't every often it does get quicker with the mirror trick.

Stumbled on this old thread. After 7 years of experimentation, I've ended up at 4/6 on the Turbo's PSS10's with N3 rated PS2's @ 36/40 lbs. I prefer 6/8 but poor roads here make this uncomfortable for she who is passenger.
