These were the pics shot by one of the professional photographers that are available for sale (there are several hanging out along the Tail of The Dragon). I resized them here to make easier viewing on range of devices.

Fantastic!

Thank you for actually driving your TT Looks like a great time.

Reminds me that yesterday I saw a 997 GT3 with Manitoba plates in my city. A solid 2 or 3 day drive to Victoria BC.

Fantastic! If that were me and my car, I'd probably consider getting prints made of a couple of those.

Heh, one close call on a long interstate stretch but no tickets this time happily.

Good call. I purchased the high res versions so should work to do a canvas wrap or something cool looking.

There are a few really cool companies that will print an image onto a really nicely worked piece of wood. My girlfriend got me one for my birthday of me in an underground racing Gallardo, I LOVE it!

I had no issues with the hardbacks, I think they're equally as good in the twisty sections as the long grand touring type sections. Probably spent 6+ hours in those seat for 3 days straight. My buddy is 6'4" and didn't have an issue either. The bolsters might be on the tight side for big guys but in general I think these are perfectly comfortable seats for long trips.

Thanks for the reply. At 6'0" 185lbs, I find they make me hunch over due to the upper side bolsters. I haven't had a lot of seat time in them for long trips though. Glad to hear they are they comfy for longer trips.

Very jealous. I waited too long to do this. My high school buddy's back won't travel any more. Oh well.

Good for you, using it for what it's designed for - driving

Have exact same car and planning a road trip of at least 3000kms to northern Japan later this year. However, was planning for that in the 964 due to the fact that's where it spent most its life and wanted to visit the original owner and dealer, BUT, the 964 seats and ICE frankly suck for long trips.

Sure, could change the seat and the ICE for $$$'s but now you're making me reconsider...the turbo is perfect for long distance touring.

Hmmmm, I know, a terrible dilemma

Default Epic road trip w/ my 993TT

As mentioned earlier I love threads like this.

I will be doing something similar except will be with a group of fellow 993 lovers. Doing 993FEST with a high school friend. He's riding shot gun. It will be a great way to catch up as we haven't spent much time together since... really high school.

So looking forward to this.

Johnny
