Finally someone with the cajones to list a 993TT without a reserve:
Porsche 911 2dr Carrera Turbo Coupe | eBay
Still might not be totally representative because it's a 97 with the sunroof delete and white seems to bring more, but it will sure be interesting.

I just hope we don't see it listed in a few weeks starting at $150k, $175k buy it now.

Let's see if the buyer actually comes through with the $$ and thus it is truly sold at that price. I hope so said by one who has the same thing but with a sunroof and lower miles.

It's funny you see it as a high dollar mark, because as someone who will hopefully be in the market in a few months, I was glad it didn't sail to $150k or more like some observers elsewhere had predicted. (My estimate was $130k.)
I mean, even if it topped out at "only" $115k, I'm sure if you bought your car before 2014 you'd still be looking at a huge, huge gain in value. (Have you thanked a rich collector today? )

Let the record state that this very public no-reserve auction visible to the entire world ended after 42 bids at $132,100. Conveniently, no asinine 15% "buyers fee" to factor in, either.
I just hope we don't see it listed in a few weeks starting at $150k, $175k buy it now.

My guess was a flake bidder, which I'll never really understand.
I also don't get why the dealer thinks buyers will materialize from the ether to pay $142k when nobody wanted to pay over $132k a week ago (which seemed reasonably strong for 74-freakin'-thousand miles). Maybe someone could offer $132k offline again and he'd take it.

There is certainly some truth to that though I have no clue why. I had listed my 06' C2S for a very fair price for 4 months and barely got a nibble. I ended up trading it in at my BMW dealer for only a couple grand less than what I was asking for private party. They listed it for $5k more than I was asking and sold it in three days. The pre-owned sales manager wasn't even ashamed to say that they didn't do a thing other than put new rear tires on the car. He made a quick $8k

Show me a Carrera GT for less than $800k.
Let me put your post into perspective:
918 money for a Carrera GT is just wrong IMO.
If I brought home a Carrera GT for over $1mil my friends would laugh at me and think i lost my mind...

The market the market the market. I wish everyone here would just go back to enjoying the cars and the camaraderie we once had here. I can have these conversations with a hundred other people in the financial industry. We should really separate the forum straight down the middle and keep anything having to do with money on one side and everything else on the other. Maybe I'll start playing with my old Fiats more. Nobody seems to be discussing their value here.
