Default Quick shoot of 993TT and 997TT at our shop!

Hey guys,

We have a couple of cars here today that I thought I would share here. First is a 993TT sitting on BBS LMs. The other is a 997TT with HRE P40s, Tubi Exhaust and Brembo Brakes. Enjoy!

is it me or does the 993 still look better? Don't get me wrong, I have a 997.2 which I love, but I always fall in love with the 993

I agree. But the black wheels on the 997 doesn't help. IMO they look a lot better with stock silver wheels. The 993tt looks amazing. So does 993goodspeeds silver RUF.

Can't replace those hips on the 993. Lines show much more presence. Imo.

IMO the 993TT looks best with either the Turbo S front lip or the Turbo R bumpers, preferably the latter. Me thinks the 993TT should have been from factory with the RUF bumpers, really brings out the car. I love the look with the Turbo S rear wing with the RUF bumpers, I've been contemplating that for my car.

Definitely! Big mistake in Stuttgart in the mid 90s. These cars need turbo R bumpers.

Thanks for compliments. I bought the car just over a year ago! It was bone stock with 58k miles! Ordered Bilstein pss10s and RUF front and rear bumpers from Germany. Actually ordered mirrors and some other stuff that never showed up. The 19 inch wheels was easy to get a hold off. A lot harder to find good condition 18s that I wanted to begin with. But happy with the end result of the 19s.
I'm not a big fan of the turbo R interior bits. Seats/steering wheel. So I bought some 996gt3 seats and installed, bought used e brake and shifter and sent to Dallas for some alcantara treatment. Together with my stock 996 steering wheel that was exchanged for a cup wheel in my track car.
I know it's not for everyone but I absolutely love the look of this car. The stance and nimble look of a 993tt is hard to beat! Sometimes I actually just walk into the garage to look at this thing of beauty.
I doubt anyone will ever put it back to stock. But I've decided to keep all original parts just in case.
Just a heads up if someone is going to buy turbo R bumpers and exhaust tips. It takes a lot of work to get it right! These molds are 20 years old so takes a good body shop to get it right.
