Default Selling my turbo

I've had a 1996 993 turbo for about 9 years. I think I am 3rd owner. Bought at 27,000 miles now with 38,000. Maintained meticulously and has been essentially a garage queen. All original (except Bilstein/Eibach suspension when bought) and beautiful inside, outside and underneath.

Now I really don't feel comfortable driving this car the way it should in light of rapid appreciation. I plan on placing in a good consignment shop beginning of April. I already know what they will likely ask and what I will get when sold. Worth it to me because don't want to deal with hassles of selling.

However, if there is any serious Rennlist interest over the next few weeks, I would consider a quick sale here. Asking 147,000.

Having difficulty attaching pictures. Maybe can email to those who want them.
Car is Polar Silver with Cashmere interior.

Had the car for sale two years ago. If you look up old posts maybe you can see pictures.

Awesome color combination. I don't think I've ever seen another with the same colors, although I'm sure there are others out there. I'm sure you're happy to have enjoyed the car over such a long period of time. I bought my TT from a long time owner with similar miles and it's one of the best cars I've owned. Good luck!

Thanks TouringTeg for providing the link. Two years ago my wife demanded her garage spot back but then had mercy on me and the car stayed.

And, yes, it seems realistic market prices of air-cooled turbos have essentially doubled over the last two and a half years. Crazy...A Ferrari Dino would still have been a better investment.

I think your asking price is totally inline with current prices. I sold my 1997 TT back in the end of 2011 for $75K. I'm sure it would be $150K+ now.

Looks a lot like my car. Can't really tell (on my phone) but it looks Midnight Blue. What was the interior color?

Interior was marble with some very cool cocoa floor mats. Yep, midnight!
Another of my dumb car moves, followed only by selling my slant!
