Default 993S Manual Vs. Tiptronic prices

Quick general question, I am looking for a 993S, prices have risen considerably in the past 2 years. I saw a 1997 Tip for USD mid 40k, Manuals that I see are at the 60K+ range.

Would you buy a Tip for 20k less? Is it possible to retrofit (the pedal would be the biggest issue IMO)

I open to ideas.

Would not by tip for 40K less. If $$ are concern then better to look at well maintained 6MT NB with colors that you like - IMHO. Great, great car to drive, hold their value and can sell when/if needed. Same for Ss but enrtry price is definitely more.

you only buy a Tip if you are missing a leg or live in a traffic heavy city.

Do not buy a tip to save money and do not try to convert it.
