Thanks Eric for helping me out on my first Thunderhill outing. A bit of debri on track from 2" of rain in about 20 minutes on the previous eve. Wasn't able to get to the "West" side until later in the day (and it was caution/no passing at that) but still incredibly fun. Very neat track and the full 5 miles is incredible. Wasn't making great times but still learning the track and it'd been about 18 months since I driven. Eric is a great driver and very helpful, letting me tag along as long as I could try and keep up with him.http://www.youtube.com/attribution_l...m-upload_owner

I have some bent pipes in my garage that I was going to fit to my turbo to help reduce the noise. Do they make much of a difference?

They just direct the noise, away from the track noise monitors.

You guys in Cali are pretty lucky to have the tracks and the weather!
Overboosted what speeds are you reaching and listening to the engine seem like you try to avoid/minimize shifting (which is what I do, car has so much torque I can stay a gear higher and shift way less than gt3's).
