Pics of the RUF Turbo R (and a friend)...
Guys,
I just got a ride in a new RUF VIN car. I had never heard of this car before but it's called the R Roadster. Based on the RT12.
The car was insanely fast!!
I love my 993, but it's hard to compete with new technology. Thanks again for the ride Jacob!

Not many things look better after 15 years...but our cars sure do. Honestly if both sets of keys were sitting on a table and I got to pick between the two I'd take your red car every time.

HA! I love you guys!! Us 993 guys need to stick together!!
Steve, don't have specs on the new RUF, but it's based on the RT12. I believe this one "only" had about 560hp, but it was absurdly fast. I was able to get some seat time and was really impressed.
The car had ceramic brakes and PDK upgraded with tons of RUF bits. It's a RUF VIN car so not a conversion.
The interior was amazing...
Here's a standalone pic of the 993 for the loyalists!!

Kevin,
Kinda of a twin, but Rufus has close to 130,000 miles on him, and is NOWHERE nearly as pristine as your car. I will add that Guards red looks great in person, but is hard to photograph. But your car always looks great in photos. Me thinks you know something about white balance or other tricks of the trade.

Sorry but that RUF looks odd too me. However, the TT looks staunch.
Hard to believe how awesome our cars still look.
The guys at RUF are VERY clever with what they do though.
993TT every time for me.

Kevin, your car looks great! It is just perfect, as always.
I know what you mean about RUF Vin cars. I see quite a few of them roll through RUF Dallas and they are definitely special cars.
