In 95, the local dealer had 3 3.6 turbos that they couldn't sell, Porsche was offering a 17k discount off sticker, I think only one ever sold the others went back to Porsche. Everybody wanted the 993tt, the 3.6 was considered a parts bin/ yesterday's news special.
Btw did anybody see the andial 96 that sold at BJ over the wknd for 150, sweet car.

Pm me about the car, if I can't swing it I might know somebody looking.

Yes but it's a very reasonably priced tt. Starting to see a few of these now. Guess anyone selling has missed the top by quite a bit.

What level do you think it would have traded at "the top?"

993 Turbo What's a fair price to pay for 30-40k mile car these days? $120k if you negotiate well? They were going for $80-90k in 2012.

I think you would be hard pressed to find a 30k example for $120, your probably looking at $140 plus.

Hear i not so jolly Europe prices are still strong, what makes you think the market has grown soft in the US. I thought prices in the US were driven by European buyers picking them up. ??? Tim

That may be part of the softening. The Euro has dropped over 20% against the US dollar over the last couple years. US cars are no longer as much as a value.

Asking and selling prices are very different. The market has softened on all the air cooled cars, esp 930s. I think last yr was the time to sell for big $$.

There seem to be only a few 993 TTS cars and they are asking $795 each. Doesn't mean they will get it. +1 one that the market is down over last year

These cars are still in the $4xxk range. There was a red turbo s with less than 20k miles on eBay a couple weeks ago for $425k I believe. It disappeared in less than a week.

A black car is coming up at Pebble represented by Goodings. My guess is that it will be $400kish.
