Default BILSTEIN PSS9 question

What type of spring does bilstein pss-9 suspension kit come with? I was told that it come with H&R spring..and I was confused

Just curious why you care who makes the springs and why it is confusing???

Because Car nutz at Bellevue told me BILSTEIN PSS9 come with H&R springs and others told me it comes with Bilstein springs and the price are $300 apart.

Bilstein manufactures and sells both the shock and the spring in the PSS9 kit. Check out www.bilstein.com for more info.

I was under the impression that the PSS9 kits use Hypercoil springs. The H&R coilover kits use Bilstein shocks valved for H&R.

BTW - the best place to have suspension work (including purchase) for a Porsche in the Bellevue area is www.cantrellmotorsport.com.

Nossir, Bilstein sources everything in Germany and use the H&R's,.. Thats what they told me back in 1999.

I am guessing that the folks over at Car Nutz are quoting you $300 for the regular H&R single (lowering) springs, not the dual race springs and perches.
