test procedure for N75 frequency valve
I thought there was a test procedure for the N75 valve in the 993tt shop manuals but I can't find it. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks in advance...

Felix,
The N75 valve is a simple 12 volt driven valve. If you want to check that it basically is working just take it off , apply 12 volts to the plug and blow through it ! Take the 12 volts off and you cant blow any more .
There is a little more to it if you are having subtle problems. The N75 has a calibrated restrictor built in.
Nearly all Euro turbo cars with Bosch motor management have a N75 valve ,
VAG,Volvo, Porsche etc so there are 100s of calibrations . Its not unknown for there to be a part number update to fix little boost problems .
Good luck
Geoff
