Anybody in L.A. area who'd wanna do a big favor?
My friend has been looking for a original 996.1 CUP tail lid for a long time (seems like they are unicorns). He finally found one in LA but the seller won't ship.
So he's looking for help in picking up the lid, packaking it and shipping to Texas (from where his friend will ship it overseas to Finland).
He would pay the seller directly and would pay for the shipping so no money involved in the transaction. Just a bit of work.
I'm sure he will somehow compensate for the effort.
If anyone in LA is willing to lend a helping hand, please PM me. I will find out where exactly in LA the part is, I know it's a big place. Have been there numerous times.

Not to steal your thunder.... LA is a big place and we have a lot of awesome members. Maybe write which city it's in (part of LA county). Glad to hear it's working out. You gotta love the RL community

The seller vanished just as my friend was trying to find out the pick up address.
Part is somewhere within 40 minutes drive radius from Paramount (where the lid should be taken to).
Edit: Just as I hit post, I received an e-mail from my friend. The part is ready for pick up. I'll see if Philip (GoofballDeluxe) is close by.
