Default Getting my fan and shroud refurbished and need help identifying color

I am in the midst of getting my car ready for spring and doing a bunch of maintenance work. I just send my distributor out to get the belt replace and have some down time. Since I took the fan and shroud out to get the distributor lose, I figured I might as well get them refreshed.

After I pulled the fan, I noticed that the fan had few tips from the blades chipped off. see below. There are a total of 4 small chip. Probably not going to be big deal, but thought I would check. The previous owner must have had a belt fail and or a fan bearing since I found a few pieces of a belt down by the crank pulley plus the fan itself at one point was rubbing on the inside of the shroud, nothing serious.

I don't want to go fancy with the color and really like what Singer is doing with their fans. Here is the look I am going after. I know what color I am going to use for the fan, but the shroud I am having a hard time to find the right color to make it look like the Singer engines. I plan on going with Cerakote, which is what they use to refinish guns. The coat is very thin and supposedly durable. Not sure about heat resistance, but I would think the fan and shroud don't get too hot. If anyone knows the color code for the shroud in these pictures that would be great.

PS: the Singer engines are just a work of art. Just gorgeous.

A local Shadetree Speedshop recommended this color for my last shroud paint job. It turned out terrific!

It sure does look good. Do you know what color code that is? It's exactly the look I want.

I painted mine the same Arena Red color as the body. Looks great! Just something else to consider.

Thanks p-daddy. I am working with the cerakote company to try to match it. If all fails I go with black/grey like OEM

lol...same as "rudyfied" RL member "Opo" has a fantastic collection of 911's that many lust for, and he's known for the beautiful cosmetic touches he has done to his cars...the completed aesthetics are known within this community as a "rudyfied" car.

Does Singer paint/powder coat the shroud, or do they black chromate the magnesium as originally done at the factory?

Cerakote is extremely heat durable (up to 1200*F for extended periods). Believe me, this reciever gets hotter than a fan does.

Agreed, but it's not made of Magnesium...

Cerakote is absolutely compatible with magnesium with no change in temperature stability.
