This Volvo dealer has had a number of Porsche sales over the years, especially 993's. Spoke with them a few years ago on a C4S they had, IIRC one of the owners is a P-Car enthusiast. This one is not for the stock from the factory enthusiast, but with that Protomotive conversion, probably would make a nice fast track car.

Guys, I purchased a 89 3.2 Carerra a few years ago and my experience with Smith is good. The owner of Smith Volvo is a Porsche enthusiast who buys and sells P cars. I think it's a hobby for him. I cannot speak on this particular car but thought it would give some input on my experience with the seller.

This car looks to be setup similar to mine. The lack of detail is likely do to Volvo dealer not fully understanding what they have. It's worth investigation IMHO. At the quoted 680HP the motor is fully built.

No affilation just just someone who is familiar with the setup.

many things, but this particular "Volvo" dealer deals in a lot of air cooled P Cars and might surprise you with their depth of knowledge,

Agreed. My Protomotive Engine (virtually the same) cost the previous owner $32K in 2002. They really are quite nice, but not to show a pic plus build specs is strange.

Depending on how the turbo build was spec'd it could be over the top with equal length headers etc or the budjet version. The motor build sounds to be done right. These NA motors work really well when turbos are added. The higher flowing twin plug heads make for a great foundation.

I for one am proud of my custom turbo setup. This was done by protomotives sister company prototech out of Florida. It utilizes the protomotive design with some additional custom tweaks. The muffler is a work of art. When combined with the external wastegates it makes for the perfect exhaust note.

If the above mentioned car has similar build quality it's well worth a closer look. Could be a great foundation for a GT2 build.
