Default Blue calipers

Sent my calipers out for paint and was thinking about something different than standard black. Red is one option, however was thinking something more unique like blue. I like the below. Anyone know the colors and welcome opinions. My car is polar silver, standard brakes and will be running 18" technology wheels

I like the GT blue on Darin's car. See post #13 https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...tml?styleid=13.

Is it normal to use Porsche calipers on an Audi?

From what I've seen, it's a common upgrade on the b5 generation audis (s4 specifically) and even seen them on a few BMW e30s.

Timely topic for me, too! My last BMW, an Alpine White 128i, had Phoenix Yellow performance brakes (think yellow-gold.) I loved that color scheme, and am really debating going with VHT's gold when I repaint. I think it would tie in with the Porsche crest colors nicely.

In regards to blue, I really like the Mexico Blue! I'm not a huge fan of the "royal" blue shades, but I think any shade would be nice on your Polar Silver car since it's a pretty frosty blue in the right lighting.

Ever heard of the RS2?

OP - Darin Fister's Polar 933 has blue calipers and it definitely looks great.

Agree on both points! I've always loved the gold calipers on the G35/350Z from a few years back.

And in terms of the blues, the Mexico Blue is a much nicer shade IMO than the darker (eg cobalt) blues.

I'm working on a set of yellow calipers right now for my zenith blue. VHT paint and happy with the results so far.

Work in progress

Looks to me like Audi wheels on a Porsche.

I went with blue calipers on my Zenith Blue, but came very close to choosing yellow instead. I'm anxious to see how the combo looks.

To the OP: Yellow looks great with Polar Silver, IMHO.
