Default Factory 993 turbo wheels for $3k, Hit or Skip?

In my pursuit to replace stock parts I found a set of factory 993 turbo wheels in great condition for $3k. It's a LOT more than I expected to spend but I know these things are getting as rare as hens teeth.

Thoughts? Does that seem fair with what you guys are seeing?

If there the turbo hollow spoke wheels it seems about right. Non hollow in great shape should be around $1200.

This website list the part numbers and weights for the wheels

Make sure they are the correct offsets too. NB vs WB. I dare say NB hollow spokes are even more rare.

Depending on condition $3K is a good price. If mint add $500-800 more.

Thanks guys, I ended up pulling the trigger on em. They had some minor flaws but no curb rash. Got em for $2,700. I could have lived with em as is but when wheeling them out to my car one of the fronts flopped over on its face and rashed the paint really good. I had to laugh or I would cry! Thankfully I have a trusted source who has painted these for the local Porsche shop for years. He's gonna paint em all for $400. I can't complain being all in for $3,100 for mint hollow spoke turbo wheels.

Nice find! Such a bummer on knocking it over. I have a way of messing up something nice accidentally immediately after buying it. I've learned to be really careful for a while... haha.

I know the feeling. It seems whenever I get a deal on something, it seems I find a way to mess it up shortly after!

Nice find!

Thanks guys! I always try and find the best of any situation. In this case it tipped the scales to getting em all refinished. They were pretty damn nice to start with. Now they will be flawless.

I had my E55 wheels done in hyper black. It's kinda a dark silver that has dark highlights when viewed at certain angles. I am toying with the idea of doing the same to these. The million dollar question will be how buyers (when I put the car up for sale in the future) feel about that? I think the safe bet is staying stock silver or something really close.

Hyper Black is not what you think. It's really a dark grey metallic that has highlights of even darker grey in the shadows. It's s really cool color!
