Default new magazine

Pete has been reading too many new Porsche option lists, including deviated stitching in his cap.

Still remains as one of the least expensive options. I'm in.

lololol this guy has gone off the reservation. There are already a few porsche only magazines, and the damn company made one or 2 models for most of its life. What else is there that needs to be in depth discovered?

$250 dollars for 4 issues. Thats just ****ing stupid.

will flop...hard.

Definitely NOT trolling but I disagree. Yes it is expensive but we live in a Porsche world where exclusivity sells. There is a reason he priced it high and time will tell. The letter definitely eludes to special perks that the $1K crowd will have access to. We will see.

Moat porsche owners, aside from maybe the 918 or similar crowd, still expect value. 250 dollars for a 4 issue magazine is in no way value. 1k for a year.. there better be perks.

Does he really think this is sustainable? What is anyone gonna do with 5 years of super high quality magazines?

Wow. Not sure that it is going to be X-times better than Panorama. $62 bucks per issue? That's more than most hardcover books I buy. Good luck, Pete!

I remember people saying the same thing about Singer's pricing when they came out. Now everyone with means wants one and there is a long line to get one.

Not sure Pete will be able to change the narrative on the magazine front in a similar fashion and get people to fork over that kind of money. Too bad- he really gave Panorama a much-needed kick in the pants and I'm a big fan of his work. Although for $250 I'll buy $50 worth of drugs and stare at Excellence until "form follows function".

really? There is a long line to get a book about a company that makes a rebodied 964? For $100 or whatever it is?

Jeez, people must be bored.

Buying content, not advertising. And what looks like a very nice presentation, paper quality, photographs. Cheap in a way if you really think about it. We are used to buying mass produced media on cheap paper with limited content and stuffed with ads. Not for everyone, but I get it.

Yes,...right here.

Its a Porsche version of the old Automobile Quarterly (and those are VERY collectible).

Reminds me of an uber-Automotive Quarterly type publication. Not really a magazine.

But has been said, there is so much content available out there, that this is simply for the collector type.
