i usually like fuchs but these do not look right to me

the shape of the propellers are modified and curved to the rim on the outer/wider edges

to my eye the look is derivative and off

for a silver 993 I prefer TT's...

4 months ago I placed an order for a set of BBS LMs for my 993 and was told at the time that it would take 3-4 months for them to arrive. I was told this because the LMs are apparently in such high demand that production of the wheels was having a hard time keeping up (this came from more than one supplier). Well it's been 4 1/2 months and still no wheels. I am sure this is not the case, but is there one person who makes the wheels out of his garage and he's been on vacation all summer long? LOL ... just kidding I know this is not the case. But it's getting a little worrisome that it's been 4 1/2 months and still no wheels. The LMs look great and I would hate to have to cancel the order and settle for something else, something I don't like as much as the LMs considering I have been waiting so long for them.

TeddySam1, where did you get these pictures of my car??? Just wondering....

I have the LM on my car for few years then changed to Fuchs. Both are 18s. The LM rear are 9.5 with 55 ET. It works well with 265 tires. Fuchs are 18 X 10 with 65 ET. Riding on same tires.

Beauty are in the eyes of beholder, I like them both as a matter of fact. Besides the look, Fuchs wheels do have some advantages IMHO. They are so light that I can feel the ride difference which makes the car handle a little better on irregulars. Also they are much easier to clean.

Steve,
I found it online......hope you don't mind.....I have the same color car and want to get new wheels.....I really like the Fuchs but a lot of people are saying it doesn't look as good because it's not period correct. Narrowed it down to Fuchs and BBS LM. Just trying to get some opinions......

I forgot I posted those pictures....it has been a while back.

LM is one of my all time favorite. I also like the look of Kinesis K28.

Here is the original Cup 2 compare to the current Fuchs.

Still have the LM on my other car. Not thinking of selling them

Got the Fuchs through group buy in 2014....either here or pelican....can't remember. They were ordered and shipped direct from factory.

Still gotta say, loving the Fuchs, even if they are not model appropriate. In that sense, who cares. We have no problem putting newer model wheels on our cars. I think the Fuchs look appropriate and sharp on a 993. Plus if they are lighter, bonus!

One thought though is do you want to see your brake calipers through the wheel? Options for that.

Catches my eye for such and I like it!!
