Default Pictures of factory painted wheel spokes on 993 wheels

Does anyone have good pictures from different angles of a factory painted Technology hollow spoke wheel where the wheel spokes are painted in a different color? Also does anyone have good pictures of the Cup 2 wheels that where painted by the factory?

Was thinking of refurbish my extra set of wheels for the turbo at some point. Maybe do the Cup 2 wheels too.

I´ve seen some different approach. Some paint the wheels on the spokes and the inside of the wheels. I believe I´ve seen pictures that I believe is from the factory and there the outer rim is standard silver and the inside of the wheel also. Just the spokes are painted in chosen color. Also in between the spokes when it comes to the hollow spokes.

Another thing I was thinking about was if the factory wheels are powder painted first and then the spokes are wet painted afterward?

Thanks, just the kind of picture I was after. I believe I´ve seen those at some point before. Does anyone know if the spokes painted in the back by any chance?

I saw a picture posted by a member. The wheels are refinished by him from what I understand by the post he made at the time. Looks quite tasteful to a arctic silver 993.

Recently bought a Boxster S 550 where the wheels are painted in similar fashion. Looks nice.

Posted in the past - try a search for more... From the Tequipment catalog - you can see the factory paint does not cover the entire interior of the wheel barrel. Both sides of the spoke, but not the inner barrel.

Thank you. Your pictures confirm my impression while I was searching for pictures of painted wheels. If I would paint the spokes on my extra set I would like to do it the way the factory made it. Thats the reason for this thread.

Many wheels you find have been painted hot just the spokes but the whole wheel. Black seems to be popular during the last 10 years or so for some reason. Others have been painted on the spokes and inside of the barrel. I think it´s better the way the factory did it.

Since my car is arctic silver I would not try to match the body paint like most pictures you see.

It's amazing to me the vast difference in "taste" when it comes to wheels...in fact...when it comes to many things on a 993.
